Ann Kilian Educator's Scholarship
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Ann Kilian Scholarship which will be awarded to a deserving educator so that they may attend the SWCW conference. This scholarship will provide the necessary funds for the educator to pay for registration for the conference as well as hotel reservations.
An educator is not necessarily a school teacher, but someone who educates students in their interest in the Civil War. For instance, perhaps they are a museum educator who assists children in tours of their museum or an interpreter at a living history museum.
The criteria for the award is as follows:
Each candidate will be required to submit a biography for themselves detailing their work with students and how they plan to use the information garnered at the conference for their students.

Emailed submissions can be sent to [email protected] no later than April 1, 2025.
Deadline: All submissions MUST be received by April 1, 2025

- A person who works on a project dealing with the Civil War.
