Virginia Mescher
Virginia Mescher is a 1972 graduate of VA Tech in Management, Housing, and Family Development with specialities in early childhood, elementary,
secondary and adult education. Currently she is self-employed as a living history consultant, professional researcher and writer. She has written an
number of articles for magazines and is a contributing editor for the Citizens’ Companion and the Watchdog and is a contributing author for Food
History News, the American Living History Farms and Museums quarterly magazine and the newly published Oxford Dictionary of Food and Drink in
