Meg Galante-DeAngelis teaches at the University of Connecticut in the School of Family Studies. A child developmentalist and social
historian, Meg has studied the lives of children and their families during the American Civil War for more than 30 years.  She and
Juanita Leisch have been guest curators of "Young America: Children in the Civil War,” exhibit at the National Civil War Museum in
Harrisburg, PA in July 1, 2005.She is also a social historian and Associate of the United States Civil War Center at Louisiana State
University. Ms. Galante-DeAngelis and her family reenact with the 28th Massachusetts and with Columbia's Daughters.
