Bonnie Mangan
a science and technology university in Isfahan, Iran. Since 1979 Bonnie has worked for the Congressional Research Service at the
Library of Congress. At the LOC, Bonnie assisted the researchers for the most recent movie version of Little Women and thus became
interested in the Civil War. When Eileen Conklin came to speak at Bonnie’s local CW roundtable Bonnie was eager to be the first
registrant for the first SWCW conference in 1997. She has attended all the subsequent conferences and is pleased to be able to present
this year. Bonnie currently serves on the Social Studies Advisory Committee for Arlington County Public Schools, and has been
selected to serve as a member of the Arlington County Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee.
