Robin Young
Robin Young earned her B.A. in history from the University of California and a graduate degree in government from the London
School of Economics and Political Science in London, England. She has taught graduate and undergraduate students as well as
conducting training seminars in success skills for military and government employees and given lectures and presentations on the
Civil War around the country.
She has published multiple Op Ed pieces in the Los Angles Times and a host of local newspapers. She has written articles for Nation’
s Cities and California Journal magazine. Her first book was recently published by Thunder’s Mouth Press in 2006 entitled For Love
and Liberty, The Untold Civil War Story Major Sullivan Ballou and His Famous Love Letter.
